BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
NO ONLINE RESERVATIONS FOR GROUPS UNDER 4
At La-Yam, we do not take online reservations for groups of fewer than 4 guests.
Smaller groups are always welcome to walk in, and we have dedicated areas set aside specifically for walk-in guests.
If you’d like to check availability before arriving, feel free to call or email us—we’ll be happy to let you know if we have space at your preferred time. (+44 20 3355 0508)
SPECIAL OCCASIONS – TABLES FOR TWO
While we don’t take reservations for groups under 4, we understand some occasions are a little more special.
If you’re celebrating an anniversary and would prefer to book a table for two, just drop us an email at reservations@la-yam.com and we’ll do our best to help, depending on availability.
GROUP SIZE ACCURACY
We kindly ask that you book for the correct number of guests in your party.
For example, please avoid booking a table for 4 if only 2 guests plan to attend, as this affects how we allocate tables and can prevent others from booking. Accurate group sizes help us serve everyone better. Thank you for your understanding!
We kindly ask that you refrain from making multiple reservations for the same group
These may not be honoured and could potentially cause an inconvenience on the night of your booking.
ARRIVAL TIME
To ensure the smoothest service for all our guests, we ask that your party arrives on time.
If you’re running late, please give us a call on +44 20 3355 0508
We’ll hold your table for 15 minutes, after which it may be released to another booking.
AFTERNOON HOURS
Tables are available for TWO hours, unless otherwise stated in your booking confirmation. After this time, your table will be re-booked for another guest.
If you’d like to extend your stay, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to accommodate you based on availability.
EVENING HOURS
For bookings made at 17:00 or later, your table is reserved for TWO AND A HALF hours, unless otherwise stated in your booking confirmation.
Should you wish to stay longer, just let us know in advance at the time of booking, and we’ll try to make it work for you!
LEAVE TIME
We kindly request that you respect the leave times, as stated in your booking confirmation.
We have these in place to ensure that as many people are able to experience our rooftop and its unique view! Sharing is caring.
Additionally, regarding our FIRE-SAFETY rules, our rooftop has a maximum capacity which we must adhere to. By staying past your agreed leave time without consent from one of the team, we will be forced to remove and ban you from the premises, regardless of our current capacity, as you will have endangered lives and broken the terms and conditions.
PRE-ORDERS
If your booking includes a pre-order, we ask that you:
• Let us know your preferred serving times (e.g., drinks on arrival, food at 7pm)
• Settle payment at least 48 hours in advance (unless otherwise agreed), to help us prepare and deliver the best experience possible.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand plans can change – but we kindly ask you to give us as much notice as possible so we
can reallocate your table and avoid unnecessary food waste.
• Groups of 4–14 guests: Please give us at least 4 hours’ notice for cancellations.
• Groups of 15–25 guests: We require 24 hours’ notice.
• Groups of 26+ guests: We require 48 hours’ notice.
We also request card details at the time of booking if your group exceeds 6 people to secure your
reservation. NO CHARGE WILL BE TAKEN AT THIS TIME.
For late cancellations or no-shows for groups of 6 people or over, a charge of £10 per person will
apply.
WEATHER CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event of bad weather where rain lasting longer than 30 mins, storms or weather warnings are predicted, we will cancel your booking for NO CHARGE, if you let us know prior to your booking time.
We’re a small, independent business, and late cancellations or empty tables do have a real impact—thank you for understanding and supporting us!
